Welcome to CaddyBytes.com’s Tournament's page for the 2008 RBC Canadian Open golf tournament.  The Canadian Open golf tournament is the oldest tournament played on the PGA Tour venue.  Here in 2008 it is being played at the Glen Abbey golf club, in Oakville, Ontario Canada.

Glen Abbey had been the primary host course for the Canadian Open since 1976 with Royal Montreal G.C. an intermittent recipient. 
The Canadian Open golf tournament is now held in a rotating format similar to the U.S. and British Open golf championships. 

There have been many great champions in the long and storied history of the Canadian Open over the years including Byron Nelson, Arnold Palmer, Sam Snead, Tiger Woods, among the notables with Mark Calcavechia defending after winning at Shaughnessy last year.

Last year's Bell Canadian Open tournament will be played at the Hamilton Golf and Country Club in Ancaster Ontario, Canada.  The 2003 event was played here and won by Bob Tway.:
