the 2008 Childrens Miracle Network at Walt Disney World Resort golf tournament.
This tournament has survived the 'Cut' to the PGA Tour's new 'Fall Series
Schedule of Events' to be played as the final official money event of the 2008
season.
The 'Disney Classic' has evolved from a team event early on and now to Pro Am event over 72 holes with two amateurs paired with two golf
professionals on Thursday and Friday and pro's only on Saturday and Sunday.
The 2008 Disney Classic is
played at the Walt Disney World Resort's Magnolia and Palm tournament golf courses
that were designed by architect Joe Lee. The
Magnolia has always been the host course dating back to the tournament's
inception in 1971 when it was called the Walt Disney World Invitational.
Previous champions of the Disney include Jack Nicklaus, Larry Nelson, Payne
Stewart, David Duval, Tiger Woods, and defending champion Vijay
Singh.
