Welcome to our tour in digital postcards of the 14th hole at the Old Course and the St. Andrews golf links in St. Andrews Scotland!

Here's a good view of how the Old Course at St. Andrew's golf hole's link 'out away from the clubhouse on the front nine and back 'in' towards the clubhouse on the back nine -a classic and original Links design.   Here you see the 514 yard par five 5th hole's fairway going away and to the right in this view (Below).  In the left part of this postcard you see  the 523 yard par 5 14th hole coming towards you and back 'in'.   The infamous 'Hell Bunker' is obscured from view in the middle left of this picture (which guards the second shot carry to the 14th fairway -located to the right and below the green wind bushes left)

There are a couple more 'pot' bunkers guarding the carry to the front of the par five 14th as well as to the left of this green (in the picture below where the hole is played from right to left)



The large and undulating 14th green with it's share of tier's and drop offs that are common contouring at the Old Course.  The 'inward half's' #14 green shares it's surface with the outward half's #4 green (obscured in the next picture postcard below)
