Welcome to our tour in digital postcards of the 16th hole at the Old Course and the St. Andrews golf links in St. Andrews Scotland!

This next picture (below) is of the fairway of the inward half's 418 yard par four 16th hole of the Old Course at the St. Andrews golf links. The hole is played from right to left in the picture and notice how undulating the old 'sunken' and original fairway's can be at the Old Course. Again the trouble is to the right off the tee (which is out of bounds over that fence you see here.)

Entry to #16 green which is undulating and hard and shares it's surface with the outward half's second hole (obscured to your left and out of view in the next picture postcard below):

Here's a look at the corner carry for the tee shot at the 449 yard par four's inward half's 17th hole. Known as the 'Road Hole' with the hotel to your right (out of view in the picture below). The town of St. Andrew's is in the view to in the distant left and the green up by the big white tenting to the right -in the next view below)
