16th hole TPC River HighlandsTPC River Highlands in Cromwell Connecticut is host to the Travelers Championship on the PGA Tour. Situated on a bluff overlooking the Connecticut River, located just outside of Hartford, TPC River Highlands offers a winning combination: an award-winning championship golf course that plays host to the largest professional sports event in the state. The original property - known as Edgewood Country Club - was designed in 1928 by Robert J. Ross and Maurice Kearney. The TPC River Highlands', now a par-70, 6,844-yard course, was completely redesigned by the legendary Pete Dye in 1982. The course was then reshaped again and 'tweaked' in 1989 by noted golf course architect Bobby Weed and PGA TOUR Design Services, Inc., with PGA TOUR players Howard Twitty and Roger Maltbie serving as consultants. Named by Golf Digest "One of the Top 10 Golf Courses in the State" and by Connecticut Golfer Online the "Best Private Course in the State" for six consecutive years, the course meanders over 148 acres, with stately corridors of mature maple, oak, sycamore and eastern white pine trees framing gently rolling fairways. The course features Bentgrass from tee to green surrounded by bluegrass fescue roughs. Numerous lakes and ponds add to the layout's beauty, with a well-balanced mixture of long and short holes creating an exciting and memorable golf experience. TPC River Highlands has hosted the GHO Travelers Championship since 1984. Click Here to our Slide Show:

TPC of Boston 12th HoleTPC of Boston

The TPC of Boston located in Norton MA was designed by Arnold Palmer/Ed Seay, and was built in 2002. The golf course features 5,282 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. a signature Arnold Palmer design that has a series of natural challenges incorporating water ponds, and rock outcroppings. Four to five sets of tee boxes per hole allow for the course to challenge the greatest golfers in the world, while not intimidating the high handicapper. A 10 acre practice facility allows for private lessons, full swing, chipping, pitching, and putting practice. Along with course architect Gil Hanse, Brad Faxon was responsible for the recent renovation of the uninspiringly generic TPC Boston.Faxon and Hanse's new-and-improved layout received mostly positive reviews, primarily because of its daring ideas. The Tournament Players Club of Boston is home to the Deutsche Bank Championship. The TPC of Boston is Private Non-Equity golf course and is one of the leading clubs on the nationwide TPC Network of 23 world-class golf courses owned or operated by the US PGA TOUR.
