Welcome to CaddyBytes.com’s Tournament's page for the 2011 Travelers Championship (formerly the GHO or Greater Hartford Open).  The TPC at River Highlands is the host golf course and has been since a major redesign in 1991.  Sammy Davis Jr., Canon, and the Greater Hartford Jaycees have been the primary sponsors of the GHO for the past thirty years with Buick taking over in 2004 and thru 2006 -hence the name change.  

The GHO was formerly played at the old Wethersfield CC until a move to it's present home at River Highlands in the late 1980's.  

There have been some great and classic previous champions including Arnold Palmer, Billy Casper, Lee Trevino, Charlie Sifford, and many more.  Stewart Cink won the Travelers in 2008, Kenny Perry in 2009, and Bubba Watson will be defending here in 2011.
