CaddyBytes 🏆 2026 Cadillac Championship Doral Final Round Recap: Cameron Young closed out the 2026 Cadillac Championship at Trump National Doral with a commanding victory on the Blue Monster, finishing at 19-under par and winning by six shots over Scottie Scheffler. After a week of power golf, demanding Bermuda greens, water-lined pressure holes, and changing South Florida weather, Young separated himself from the field and turned the final round into a statement win at one of golf’s most recognizable tournament venues.

The final round began with weather already part of the story, as more than an inch of rain had fallen and officials worked within a window to avoid afternoon thunderstorms. Preferred lies were in effect, but Doral still required control from tee to green. Scheffler delivered one of the round’s best highlight shots, taking driver off the deck from long range and sending a towering second shot toward the green, while the broadcast continued to point out how tricky the grain and reads were on the Bermuda putting surfaces.

Young’s final round also included a notable rules moment when his ball moved after he addressed it under preferred lies, leading to a one-shot penalty after a discussion with officials. Even with that setback, he remained in control of the tournament and finished well clear of the chasers. Scheffler ended solo second at 13-under, Ben Griffin finished third at 12-under, and Si Woo Kim, Adam Scott, and Sepp Straka shared fourth at 11-under. Adam Scott made one of the late leaderboard moves with a strong closing round, but Young’s advantage was too much to catch.
