Lucas Herbert completed a record-setting wire-to-wire victory at JCB Golf & Country Club with a bogey-free 10-under 62, finishing at 30-under 258 and defeating Tyrrell Hatton by six shots. Herbert's closing masterpiece established the lowest winning score to par in LIV Golf history, while Ripper GC completed the Australian sweep by winning the team championship at 52-under.
CaddyBytes 🏆 Final Round Recap: Herbert began Championship Sunday with a three-shot lead over Bryson DeChambeau, but Hatton immediately supplied the hometown pressure. The Englishman birdied three of his opening four holes, four of his first six and reached 6-under for the round before the turn. Herbert refused to retreat. He opened with confident iron play and putting, reached 3-under through six and repeatedly answered whenever the gap threatened to narrow.
One of the most important moments arrived at the par-4 eighth, where Herbert rolled in a long par-saving putt to prevent the challengers from gaining momentum. He turned in 5-under and then transformed control into domination on the second nine. Birdies at the 11th and 12th were followed by another at the par-5 13th, and a fourth consecutive birdie at the 14th effectively closed the door on Hatton and DeChambeau.
Herbert continued producing precise approaches and fearless putting as the final holes became an exhibition. A final birdie at the 18th completed a bogey-free 62, his second sub-63 round of the week after Thursday's opening 61. He finished the tournament with 30 birdies and 32 combined birdies and eagles, both LIV Golf records, and required only 21 putts in the final round.
Hatton delivered a brilliant bogey-free 9-under 63 in front of the English crowd, but even that exceptional charge lost ground to Herbert. Hatton finished alone in second at 24-under 264. DeChambeau closed with a 68 to finish third at 21-under, while Cameron Smith added a 69 and placed fourth at 17-under.
Abraham Ancer and Caleb Surratt shared fifth at 14-under. Laurie Canter, Charles Howell III and Harold Varner III tied for seventh at 13-under, with Carlos Ortiz completing the top 10 at 12-under after a closing 66.

| 2 | Legion XIII | -48 | 4 back |
| 3 | Crushers GC | -42 | 10 back |
Record-setting finish: Herbert's rounds of 61-66-69-62 produced a six-shot victory and the first 30-under winning total in LIV Golf history. His second wire-to-wire title of the 2026 season also helped Ripper GC earn its third team victory of the year, four shots ahead of Legion XIII.
Championship takeaway: Herbert never surrendered the lead after his opening-round 61 and saved his most commanding golf for Sunday. Hatton's 63 would have won many tournaments, but Herbert answered the pressure with four consecutive back-nine birdies and a closing 62 that turned a competitive final round into one of the most dominant performances in LIV Golf history.
