2026 GL Championship at Grass Clippings Rolling Hills
The 2026 GL Championship brings the Grass League's high-stakes par-3 team format back to its fully lighted home course in Tempe. Forty-four two-player teams will play 54 holes, with 36 holes Friday and the final 18 Saturday.
The championship combines elite golf with the Creator Showcase, Red Bull Pin It Challenge, $50,000 Ace Race, food and hospitality areas, and nightly concerts. The $175,000 purse is paid to the top five teams, while 5,000 points are distributed to the top 40.

Grass League describes itself as the world's first high-stakes par-3 golf league. Its events combine the identity of city-based sports franchises with the speed and pressure of short-course golf, allowing professionals and amateurs to compete together in two-player scramble teams.
Quick League Overview
Franchises build 14-player rosters and select different two-player combinations for each tournament. Team finishes generate event earnings and Par 3 Cup points for the franchise, while the season-ending GL Championship offers the final and largest opportunity to shape the standings.

- Both partners play from the same spot and select the best shot until the ball is holed.

Eleven regional franchises compete throughout the season
Fields have included Ryan Ruffels, Luke Kwon, Jennifer Song, Willie Mack III, Ty Strafaci, Jesse Mueller, Scott Harvey, John Mallinger, and Will Wilcox.
Each franchise carries a 14-player roster and chooses its pairings separately for each event.

April 24–25 — Tempe, Arizona
Phoenix United opened the season with a record-setting victory
Austin Quick and Tyler Weworski closed with a 13-under round and won by six strokes.
The six-shot margin was the largest in Grass League history, and the final-round 13 under tied the league's single-round record.
The event featured 132 golfers across six pairings from each franchise.
Summer Grind
September 5–6 — Goat Hill Park
Scottsdale Strikers won the traveling event in Oceanside
Parker Reddig and David Bradshaw birdied all but one hole on the back nine during a closing 12-under round.
The weekend also included The Showcase creator pro-am and the Ace Race hole-in-one competition.

Grass League began at Grass Clippings Rolling Hills with the goal of turning par-3 golf into a high-stakes, team-based spectator sport. The league combines a franchise model with professional and amateur players, night golf, open qualifying, a draft, tournament purses, and a season-long championship race.
The Grass Clippings Open established the league's large-field tournament format, while the Summer Grind expanded the schedule beyond Arizona to Goat Hill Park in Oceanside. The Match Series added head-to-head elimination golf, giving each franchise another way to create regional rivalries and player storylines between the major tournaments.
